Da Nang Lady Buddha
Da Nang is a dynamic coastal city in central Vietnam, watched over by the serene figure of Lady Buddha (Quan Âm) at the Linh Ứng Pagoda on the Sơn Trà Peninsula. Rising 67 meters above a lotus pedestal, she is the tallest statue of the Bodhisattva of Mercy in Vietnam, facing the East Sea to bring protection to fishermen and calm to the storms that sweep the coast. From her hilltop sanctuary, Lady Buddha has become the spiritual emblem of Da Nang's shoreline.
