Rennes Portes Mordelaises
Rennes is the capital of Brittany in northwestern France, home to the Portes Mordelaises — the last surviving gate of the medieval city walls. Built in the 15th century with two imposing towers flanking a fortified entrance, the gate once served as the ceremonial entry point where the Dukes of Brittany were crowned. Today the Portes Mordelaises stand as a proud reminder of Rennes' Breton heritage and medieval past.
